Government Grant Streamlining

The federal government is streamlining its grant process, with a goal of having uniform forms and definitions across all agencies. They are also working to make electronic grant transactions available, from finding a grant opportunity to submitting reports. OMB Watch and the Urban Institute are sponsoring a project that will keep nonprofits up to date on proposed changes in the grants system and provide you with opportunities to comment and get your input to the agencies.

This is a private list (meaning that subscribers must be approved by the list administrator), intended for organizations and individuals wanting to know more information about the federal grants streamlining project. Traffic on this list is generally light, ranging anywhere from 0-10 messages a week, depending on activity around the issues. All messages must be approved by OMB Watch, therefore direct posting by members is not allowed.
