Job Announcement: Federal Fiscal Policy Internship

OMB Watch's Federal Fiscal Policy program is seeking a full- or part-time intern to work supporting program staff on a wide range of activities and duties including legislative and policy analysis, short and long-term policy research, editing and writing short reports, hearing summaries, newsletter articles, and talking points, attending relevant congressional hearings, policy briefings, and coalition meetings, website maintenance, administrative support, and other tasks as assigned.

While the position is unpaid, OMB Watch is a small organization, allowing interns to gain first hand experiences and take on significant responsibilities related to a number of different aspects of policy analysis and advocacy within the broader DC nonprofit community. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to enter the nonprofit advocacy world or those interested in the development of public policy.

Desired Qualifications Applicants should have completed at least two years of college in any field of study (graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply). Excellent writing, critical thinking, and communications skills are necessary, and enthusiasm and dedication to public policy and advocacy preferred. Also, good computer skills including web experience a big plus.
