Next week, possibly Wednesday, the House will consider H.R.1429, to reauthorize for the first time in a decade, the childhood development program Head Start. However, a "Motion to Recommit," is expected to be offered, sending the bill back to the committee and require the inclusion of the Charitable Choice religious discrimination provision, allowing providers to make hiring decisions based on religion.
