*ANNOUNCEMENT* Oral argument in Velazquez v. Legal Services Corporation will take place before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on November 2, 2005 at 10:00 AM. The central issue will be whether the trial court was correct to issue a preliminary injunction barring LSC from enforcing its physical separation requirement against three New York City-based legal services programs. All are welcome to attend the argument, which will be held in lower Manhattan at the U.S. Courthouse, 40 Centre St., Room 1705.
