Federal Fiscal Policy Analyst

Gary Therkildsen joined OMB Watch in May 2009 as a Federal Fiscal Policy Analyst. Prior to joining OMB Watch, Gary served for five years as a police officer with the U.S. Capitol Police. In July 2008, Gary resigned from the Capitol Police to join then-Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign as a Field Organizer in Ohio.

Gary graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance in 2002, and completed graduate studies in History and Public Policy at The George Washington University in 2008.
