Upon release of this report, a number of state legislative information technology representatives took the opportunity to carefully examine information presented, and provide commentary, revisions, and updates. The information presented in this document reflects the direct input of state legislative staff themselves, and not the authors of the report. In an attempt to provide more informed starting points for follow-up research and public assessment of the resources featured in this report, we strongly encourage the public to include this addendum document in any future study of state legislative websites based upon this study. The authors reiterate that this report serves only as a snapshot of activity during a specific period of time. As web resources are constantly monitored, assessed, evaluated, and redesigned to accomodate internal and external information needs, there is great potential for differences in findings over a period of time. This addendum document represents the final edition of this report. While no further editions of this report will be presented here, questions or comments can be directed to Matt Carter and Ryan Turner at ombwatch@ombwatch.org OMB Watch maintains responsibility for the contents of this report, including errors and omissions. |
